WHAT IS MAGNETIC FILTER & HOW DOES IT WORK?

Magnetic separators filter ferrous and weakly magnetic metals from product flows. These contaminations can remain in your end product and cause rejection, but can also damage your process machines.

WHAT IS MAGNETIC FILTER & HOW DOES IT WORK?

Magnetic Filter is a filtering and sorting device that uses magnetic force to absorb fine iron impurities in fluid and semi-fluid. It is usually installed inside or outside the hopper, discharge port, and transportation pipeline. When the material flows through the magnetic filter, the iron impurities will be firmly adsorbed on the magnetic surface, thereby effectively purifying the material and protecting the safety of downstream equipment.

Magnetic Filters are commonly used to filter fine iron impurities entrained in powders, particles, liquids, and gaseous materials. At present, the most common magnetic filters are tube magnets, and the equipments with main structure of tube magnets, such as: magnetic grids, drawer magnets, magnetic liquid traps, etc.

SPV stated that with the principle of Magnet filter products, Goudsmith is one of the leading international manufacturers to accommodate the needs of magnet filter systems in Indonesia.
